wake surfing

We went boating with our friends the Theurnagles a couple weeks ago. I decided it was time I finally get in the water. It was a brown 65 degree water! I felt like I was getting hypothermia just jumping in!! Grant even threw Carter in the water. He panicked at first and I was afraid he would drown me :) We all had a good laugh about it after. I attempted wake surfing for the first time too. Everyone said all you have to do is stand up, its that easy! Well, after several attempts and swallowing yucky blacktail water, I gave up without getting up even once! It was a great workout though.
Maybe next summer I will be able to do it. Grant also took Allivia wake surfing for the first time too. I cant believe how brave she is. She is always the first kid to want to try anything! She is just like her dad that way. She had fun doing it too.
