Boy oh boy did we have a fun 4th of July!! On Wednesday we drove to Soda Springs to meet up with Grants 3 best friends from high school and their families. First off, who is lucky enough to grow up with friends like Grant did, and second, who is lucky enough that after 15 years, they all still keep in touch? It had been years since all of us have been together, but it was as if no time had passed at all!! We got to Soda at 8pm, and they picked Grant up to go water skiing by 8:30. They went out again the next morning at 7:30am!! (apparently just like the old days) We spent the day on Alexander Reservoir boating and having fun. Their was 21 kids and 9 adults. All the kids got along perfectly which made the day even funner. Later in the afternoon, and storm blew in. The Doppler showed it going around us, but within minutes it was raining, thundering and a little lightning. Again, the Doppler showed it would pass quickly, so we waited out the storm. But storm cells just kept appearing out of no where!! Then the hail came!! Finally after a while, we called it quits for the day and went to eat dinner. We had so much fun seeing everyone, and cant wait till next year, when hopefully we do it all over again!.

Kids storming the boat
Parker and Jonathan. They were instant besties.
Everyone wanting a turn tubing
Throwing rocks and Daisy attempting to fetch them.
This was the best picture I could get of the 4 boys. Grant, Ty Allen, Brandon Moldenhauer, and Michael Sanders.
See the storm forming behind us?
Daisy was in Heaven all day!! She spent the entire day swimming, and loading in all the floating logs she could find.
This picture is soooooo cute!!!!!!! Notice how Daisy is eyeballing the corn dog?
Grants mad skills on the water skis!!
4TH OF JULY PARADE IN SODA SPRINGS
we couldnt break family tradition, so we drove grandpa Terry's truck to the parade rout to save our spot.
Saluting the Flag.
Mr. and Mrs. Campbell :)
CANDY!!!!
VISITING THE GEYSER
Parker was a little nervous around the geyser, but the other kids had fun touching it.
We drove home to Idaho Falls for the Fireworks. We rode our bikes to the greenbelt like always and enjoyed the show! The show was the best one yet I thought, and the all the kids enjoyed it.
