On December 22, we went to the annual Eddie family Christmas Party. Uncle Richard cooked an amazing dinner! Then we had the traditional talent show, followed by a visit from Santa Clause. (Uncle Richard) Grandma Walker buys a small gift for each of the grand-kids, and Santa delivers them. Then comes the grand finale, the white elephant gift exchange. This party has been a family tradition for well over 30 years.
On Christmas Eve Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Terry, T.R. and Amber Campbell came to our house. We ate dinner, sang Christmas songs, looked at musical Christmas lights, drank homemade eggnog, and enjoyed being together as a family.
Grandpa Terry and Grandma Kathy stayed the night and spent Christmas morning with us. The kids were awake by 530, but we decided to be nice to grandma and grandpa and make the kids wait until 7 to open presents. The kids were so excited!! Parker hardly slept all night (he was excited for his first Christmas) so he had huge bags under his eyes. He was so tired and went down for a nap half way into opening presents. T.R and Amber bought our family presents this year. I got tons of jam! and canning supplies which I loved!!
Grant got a new tie, and movie tickets so we can go on a few dates!!
Carter got a new bey-blade, Allivia and Ellie got nail supplies, pet shops and a few other things. Parker got a new toy, and Daisy received a new bone!! I am sure I am forgetting something :) They were very generous, and we were very grateful!
The Campbells gave them all new clothes, and toys. Grant and I received a new Family home evening chart, gloves, jewelry cleaner, and new board games to play as a family.
Santa Clause brought Carter the new Skylanders Giants starter kit!! He has been asking for that for months!!
Santa brought Allivia an Easy Bake Oven!! She loves to cook so this was the perfect gift!!
Santa Clause brought Ellie the Cinderella movie and a Cinderella and Prince Charming barbie! Ellie's favorite movie is Cinderella.
Parker received a little Einstein musical table, which he absolutely loved!!
It was a great Christmas and we were all spoiled! The day was not over yet though! After breakfast we packed up and went to Pocatello to see the Eddie side of the Family. We ate more food, exchanged gifts with the cousins, and opened the Presents from Grandma and Grandpa Eddie. After, we played games and visited with each other why the the cousins played with all their new toys.
Allivia got a lala loopsie doll from her cousin Callie Eddie
Ellie got a Cinderella doll and a new movie from cousin Decker Eddie
Carter got a new nerf gun from his cousin Ashton Eddie
Parker got a new outfit, cars, balls and a musical toy from cousin Caden Peterson.
Grandma and Grandpa Eddie went overboard for the kids this year, but I didn't see anyone complaining :) Carter got a new lego set with a book with Lego ideas. Allivia received a tea set, new shirts, play food, nail polish. Ellie got a puppet set, play blender and mixer, and Parker got trucks, and a movie. It was a great ending to a perfect day. The best part of Christmas was spending the entire day with both of our amazing families!! We are beyond blessed for sure.
