One day we were riding bikes at Highland park in an old creek. The kids would ride down one side and up the other side and try to jump their bikes. Ellie crashed her bike and wouldn't stop crying. Her wrist looked a little swollen but not bad. It wasn't until about an hour later that she said her arm was going numb that we took her into the Community Care. She had broken both bones in her wrist. We found out later she was supposed to have this type of break casted but the PA on duty must have not known how or something. Luckily it healed up within a couple months and she is back to her wild self again!
Every May for 4 years now I have been in charge of our local color run for our school. It is so much fun to participate in!! Its also a lot of work. This last years run could not have gone better. We had perfect weather, a great DJ and lots and lots of color powder. It was a great family activity and fundraiser for our school!!
The missionaries performed service by throwing color and grilling burgers.
This is Parkers amazing teacher Mrs. Pincock. Her husband also owns Wendy's and helped to sponsor the race
This is Mr Newell and his wife. He is our school principal
Allivia had a fun club season! She played up a year so her and her friend could play on the same team. The girls all got along great and she gained some great experience. We loved traveling and watching her play.
At the end of the school year Parkers class took a field trip to the local zoo. I had my little group I was in charge of and we had so much fun touring and enjoying the zoo.
Allivia worked really hard and graduated the DARE program. She wrote an amazing essay about why she will always stay away from drugs and alcohol. I was proud of all the hard work she put into taking the program seriously.
