Pete, MaKenzie and 3 of Petes kids came from California for the solar eclipse. I didnt expect it to be anything to amazing but it was!!!We had such a fun weekend together. It was our first time meeting Petes girlfriend and she was very sweet. We went to a neerby park to watch the eclipse. The kids played on the toys and we ate snacks and played music. It was fun watching the process through our eclipse glasses. What was most amazing was the temperature drop and the darkness in the middle of the day. Even the street lights came on. It was truly an amazing experience to watch. Afterwords we went to reeds dairy for some yummy icecream. We always take our out of state family there because its the best icecream you will ever eat!! Wish they all lives closer but we enjoyed the couple days we did have to spend with them.
