Lemonade stands

Last week Carter and his friend Cameron (our neighbors grandson) decided to have a lemonade stand. Allivia, Ellie and Tayler thought it was a good idea too. Carter set up shop across the street, and the girls set up their stand at Taylers house on the next block. It was fun watching them compete against each other. They would send spies around the block to see how the competition was doing. They would lower prices so sell more and add products like pipe cleaner bracelets and zucchini muffins to the menu. I loved watching their strategies. The boys ran up and down the street with signs, and the girls got smart and went door to door selling Popsicle and muffins after they sold out of lemonade. At the end of the day both booths made about $15! I thought that was pretty good! The girls split it 3 ways and poor carter ended up having to split it about 6 ways because more of Camerons siblings and cousins decided to help them sell. It was a great business lesson! Something that could go in a college business text book :)

Parker wanted to help too. Pretty sure he drank half the lemonade, but had a blast being his big brothers helper.

business was booming haha.
