Campbell Summer 2015

Boy was it a busy summer! I have gotten way behind on updating this blog, so here is a quick ( totally not quick) outline of how much fun we had this summer!
After our Campbell family reunion. Our cousins from California decided to stay with us for a while. First, Celeste came. Her and Allivia are very close.
The girls had a bake sale every week and raised money for our local Humanitarian Center
I believe they raised over $70 and did almost all the cooking their-selves
 We went to the zoo...

 and made freezer jam....
Next came our Thirkell family reunion at Warm River outside of Ashton Idaho. It is a place I cant wait to go to again!! We loved it!!

 we ate smores..
 caught frogs...
Played in warm (totally not warm!) River

Grant, Daisy and the kids floated down several times.

Celeste and Allivia doing their best "pioneer smile" Jake couldn't help but photo bomb!

The Rock Gardens are one of our favorite places to go as a family.

Can you believe we fit this many kids in our house?

We even spend a few hours with our nephew Ethan!! We gave him a ride to the airport, then the flight got canceled and she got to spend the night in our crazy house!! We even fed him some famous Reeds Dairy Ice cream.
Summer wouldn't be summer without Chuckers Baseball!!

Maddox drinking from the hose.. oh no!!!!!

and of course, some boating!

At this point, Jake, Hanna and Celeste went to Boise to spend a couple weeks. Sam, Sheerstie and their munchkins came to Idaho for the first time in a year! I totally cried when I saw her!!

It was a busy busy July!! We loved having so much family staying with us! Up next with our just as fun August!!

So, grant asked us to get some toilet paper after we went to see The Cokeville Miracle movie and we were stuck at a train for over 50 minutes!!!! Yes we could have turned around, but then we wouldn't know how long it would have taken. :)

 Hanna and Celeste.
We dropped off Jake and Jonah at EFY
Hanna was sad she didnt get to go anymore.
We played soccer games in the front yard. Hanna taught the kids how to take a knee when someone gets hurt. It happened a lot :)

We made homemade slime!! Seriously one of the funnest things to do! Provides endless hours of fun for the kids!!

Ryan Shoup and the Rubber Band performed down at the greenbelt. It was a great show! Aunt Amber even came for the fun!

It was a beautiful night! We are so lucky to have this view less than a mile from our home!
We didn't have time to wait in line to meet the band, so Hanna and I took a selfie with them behind us. We got really good at selfies while Jake and Hanna were here!!
We attended the yearly Roaring Youth Jam on the river. Kids did a lot of arts and crafts.

Yeah for a new Jamba juice on our side of town!!!
We had our 4th annual block party! I made dutch oven BBQ chicken and dutch oven potatoes. Both turned our great!! Almost all the neighbors came too.
The kids put on a lip singing/dancing show for the neighbors too. They were all good sports about it :)

I love these pictures from one of our many trips to the park.

Back to school haircuts and lunch date with mom. The girls have begged for bangs for ever! I finally gave in.

Our good "neighbor friends" had a baby 6 weeks early, so we got to hang out with their 4 other kids while mom was in the hospital. They are a pretty cool bunch of kids!!
We went to visit Grandma Walker. She is 90 years old and one of the most amazing women I have ever met!! We just love her!

Maddox really loved snuggling on her lap.

On the 24th was Grants 34th birthday. He wanted strawberry shortcake. I snazzed it up a bit, and it tasted AMAZING!!

 Allivia got reading glasses!!
Our doggie friend Sunny Pup came to stay with us for a while, and Ellie loves her!! She is a sweet doggie.

 Nail parties!

Parker, Maddox and I had a date to the rock gardens. These two could spend a whole day there playing on the rocks and throwing rocks in the river!
They are becoming pretty good buddies!

 selfies with mommy!

More of Ellie and Sunny, and daisy

Carter got a lawn mowing job for a neighbor and saved for several weeks to buy his own xbox! He was so excited! Grant and I were so proud of his hard work and discipline to save his money.
School started back up the last week of August. It was a busy and amazing summer!! We are so blessed to have so much family and friends to share our lives with!!
