Christmas 2013

Just a warning, this is going to be a long post! We had a busy December!! The season kicked off with the arrival of our Elf named Buddy. He made sure the kids were behaving and reported back to the North Pole each night. Sometimes we would get up in the morning to find that Buddy was being silly! One morning he got himself tied up in the ceiling fan, so we sent him for a few rides.

Santa Clause always visits our house. We are very lucky that he comes to our home even though he is so busy!!

We had our annual Eddie Family Christmas Party.

Santa had a Mexican accent this year, and all the gifts were inside a pinata. It was pretty funny. Uncle Richard cooked dinner and we all enjoyed each others company. Grandma Walker turned 89 this year too which is pretty amazing!

Christmas Eve we went to Beau and Camies house for dinner. Grandpa and Grandma Eddie came up too. Camie made a yummy dinner! After we broke out the treats and watched Monsters University. The kids all opened one gift which was new pajamas. Next came the big reveal.....
On the 23rd we had a ultrasound so find out the sex of the baby, but kept it a surprise until Christmas Eve. After the kids opened their new pajamas, we got out one more gift. It had this outfit in it with a set of ultrasound pictures. Everyone was so surprised!! We are so excited to have another boy!!!! Best part is that we have even chose a name for this little guy, which never happens before the baby is born. We have decided to name him Maddox Terrell Campbell. (hope he looks like a Maddox when he is born, or I am in trouble)

Santa was very good to us this year! The kids had so much fun opening all their gifts and playing with their new toys. Carter got Disney Infinity, Allivia received a new Jewelry Box, Ellie got a play Cabin, and Parker a microphone that sings Bubble Guppies songs.
Grandma and Grandpa Campbell sent us gifts from their mission in Nauvoo.

Christmas morning, Grandma and Grandpa Eddie, Uncle Beau and Aunt Camie and their two kids, along with Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton came for breakfast. We ate Aunt Jill's famous french toast roll ups, crock pot breakfast casserole and orange Julius. Grandma Hamilton brought her traditional old fashion carrot pudding.
We played games and visiting all afternoon. Grandpa Eddie, Grant and Carter even played two games of Risk! It was so fun to spend the day with our family. That evening we went back to Beau and Camies house and ate left overs from the night before and just hung out with each other again. It was the perfect end to a perfect Christmas!!
Uncle TR and aunt Amber came up that Friday night and had dinner and played games with us too. It was good to see the Campbell side a little, Christmas isn't the same without them!

  1. Of course it's a boy. I could have told you that. ;) If it were a girl, we wouldn't have matchy match families! ;) So so fun!!
